Today our round flower bed received some much needed new life with new Dwarf Crepe Myrtles and new pots for seasonal flowers. A very special young man helped library staff plant the Crepe Myrtles this morning and the flower pots and yellow mums were donated this afternoon. Thank you to everyone who helped bring new life to the flower bed and tribute to long time librarian Willa Grace Hardy.

On September 17th, an amazing group of volunteers from multiple organizations came together to volunteer for United Way’s Day of Caring. They worked hard around our community including some work at the library. They spruced up our landscaping, dusted shelves in the library and cleaned the carpet in the library’s basement. They worked magic on our round flower bed to get it ready for new bushes and flowers. We greatly appreciate all of their hard work!
