Painting
Explore a variety of painting techniques in acrylic, oil or water soluble oil. Bring a photograph of your choice to work from.

Painting on Silk
Explore the basics of French Serti techniques painting silk scarves. Dyes are applied to silk and will flow like watercolor. The silk is then steam set.

Ceramics
Explore the possibilities of clay. Create your own
individual pottery with hand building techniques using a slab roller, extruder or work on the potter’s wheel. Open to all levels. Fee includes clay and glazes.

Open Studio
Explore media of your choice from previous art
experiences. Price is based on the medium you choose to work with.

Watercolor
Explore various watercolor techniques such as dry brush, wet in wet, and other assorted applications.

Relief Printmaking
Learn the art of relief printmaking, a process where an image is carved away from a linoleum or wood block and the raised surface that is left behind is then inked up and printed using a printing press.

☀️Summer 2026 Youth Art Classes☀️

Allow your child to express their artistic creativity in
many art mediums. Making art is often not a clean
process so parents please dress your young artists
appropriately. Students should enroll in the grade
they will be attending in the Fall.

Space is limited. Please pre-enroll so that adequate
art materials will be on hand. Please call 918-225-7525 to enroll.

JUNE
Preschool - Starts Friday, June 12- June 26, 11:00 - 11:45 a.m. Class is three weeks with no fee. A parent or adult must attend class with their children.
Kindergarten -Watercolor
Wednesdays, June 10-June 24, 3:00 - 3:45 p.m. Class is three weeks with $5.00 fee.
1st Grade - Watercolor
Wednesdays,June 10-June 24, 2:00 - 2:45 p.m. Class is three weeks with $5.00 fee.
2nd Grade - Watercolor
Wednesdays, June 10-June 24, 1:00 - 1:45 p.m. Class is three weeks with $5.00 fee.
3rd Grade - Drawing
Tuesdays, June 9 -June 30, 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. Class is four weeks with $5.00 fee.
4th Grade - Drawing
Tuesdays, June 9 -June 30, 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. Class is four weeks with $5.00 fee.
5th Grade - Book Making
Mondays, June 8 -June 29, 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. Class is four weeks with $5.00 fee.

Mondays, June 8 -June 29, 1:30 - 3:00 p.m. Class is four weeks with $7.00 fee.

Ceramics
Explore the possibilities of clay. Create your unique pieces with different hand building techniques or work on the potter’s wheel. Open to all levels. Fee includes clay and glazes. $45.00 for eight weeks.
Evening Class begins Tuesday, June 9 - July 28, 5:30-8:00 p.m.
Morning Class begins Thursday, June 11 - July 30, 9:30 a.m. -12p.m.

Open Studio
Explore media of your choice from previous art experiences. Starts Wednesday, May 28th, 9:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. for eight weeks. Price is based on the media you choose to work with: Clay-$45, Watercolor-$40, Acrylic/Oil Painting-$30, High School age-$25.
