Dates have been moved to allow kids to participate in both Girl Scouts and 4-H.

5th and 6th grade students mummified chickens! We washed, dried, weighed, and measured our chickens before we coated them inside and out with baking soda, spices, and finally submerged them in a Natron mixture. The kids had a blast! Thanks to all who donated, including Timber Charlie's for supplying 75 lbs. of salt!

From Ms. H:
Thank you to everyone who came out for the blood drive! We had to make a trip to HNJ midway through the event to get more supplies because we ran out! We were told it was the largest turnout for any UP blood drive this year, collecting more than three times our goal. As I watched the donation line grow, my heart was full. I appreciate you more than I can say. I am blessed, indeed, to belong to this community. We take care of our own.
**Extra thanks to TLA for organizing our outdoor Family Night to coincide with the blood drive. Once a Bobcat, always a Bobcat.
