J.P. Knapp Early College’s Parent-Teacher Conference Night is Thursday, October 22, from 5:00–7:00 PM!

These 15-minute conferences are an opportunity to celebrate your scholar’s progress, discuss questions or concerns, and work together on next steps for success.

📍 Meet in person or virtually, based on your preference.
📅 Advance scheduling is required. Please contact your child’s teacher to arrange a conference. Teachers will also be reaching out to parents/guardians to schedule meetings.

Need another date or time? We understand that schedules vary. If Thursday evening does not work for your family, please coordinate with your child’s teacher to find a more convenient time.

We look forward to connecting with you and strengthening the partnership that helps our scholars thrive!

💜 Celebrating CTE Student Achievement!
Our Spartans delivered outstanding results with 100% proficiency on the Honors Project Management state EOC and 100% completion of performance-based measurements in Computer Science I & II.

A huge shoutout to our CTE students and Mrs. Frazier for the hard work, high expectations, and real-world learning behind these results. Thank you, Mrs. Frazier, for preparing our Spartans with the knowledge and skills to succeed in college, careers, and beyond!

J.P. Knapp continues to set a high bar, with 95.2% overall EOC proficiency and 75.7% College & Career Ready performance in 2025-26... vastly outperforming both the Northeast Region and North Carolina across every EOC subject area highlighted.

💜 The Momentum Is Real.

Over the past five years, J.P. Knapp’s grade-level proficiency has climbed from 75.2% to 95.2%, while College & Career Ready performance has increased from 50.4% to 75.7%.

That’s +20 percentage points in proficiency and +25.3 points in College & Career Readiness - a powerful reflection of the hard work of our students, teachers, staff, and entire Spartan community.

💜 The People Behind the Results: English II..Different by Design... and the results show it.

We are proud to celebrate an outstanding year in English II, with 96.85% proficiency and 70.3% of students reaching College & Career Ready performance.

A huge shoutout to Mrs. Billotte and Mrs. Benner for the high expectations, strong instruction, and support they provide our Spartans every day. Their work is helping students grow as readers, writers, and critical thinkers while continuing to raise the bar for achievement at J.P. Knapp.

💜 The People Behind the Results: Math III

Today we are celebrating Mrs. Phillips and the outstanding work happening in Math III at J.P. Knapp.

Math III proficiency increased from 96.8% to 100%, with 89.2% of students reaching College & Career Ready performance and 37.8% scoring at Level 5.

These results reflect high expectations, strong instruction, and students being challenged to reach their full potential.
