My classroom list- Music Lists are sorta complicated. Instruments are really expensive, so we use what we have.
This year, I want to focus on drums & recorder. Last year I taught my students how to read and play rhythm by beating on old clipboards using toddler sticks.🤦🏻‍♀️ (Hey, we use what we have 🤷🏻‍♀️.) It was pretty intense and they beat holes in the clipboards and broke the sticks.😅
I have added 30 REAL drum pads to my list. I think each one costs $14.99. If I can get 30 people to purchase one, my kids will have a complete fit and we will actually have effective, durable equipment. And these should last for years, hopefully 😁. Some of my classes are very large but hopefully this will be enough. Whatever we don't get, I will try to purchase throughout the year. I will also take the drum pads and sticks to each school as I travel. Thank you for your support as I try to teach tiny musicians. ❤️ We're going to have a GREAT year! 🫶🏾
