Join Monta Vista High School's photography club to win contests, learn how to take pictures and have fun with friends.
Monta Vista's Photo Club offers a unique environment to anyone interested in photography, ranging from those wanting to try it out to aspiring photographers. Additionally, the club will offer opportunities to explore many different types of photography, including portrait, action, street, etc. Being a part of photo club does require some time commitment outside of school in order to participate in
the events listed below. Events:
Workshops: Photography club hosts workshops after school to teach photography techniques. Workshops range in difficulty and medium, so that anyone can improve their skills. They will likely include a few stations that club members can rotate through in order to get hands on experience with different modems of photography. They will take place in F102 after school. Field Trips: In order to broaden our experience in photography, members can embark on field trips with the club. Locations include San Francisco, Santa Cruz and many more! Simply bring a camera and explore various aspects of outdoor photography, like star trails, street photography, landscape photography, and more. Gigs: This year, photo club will be photographing at different events in our community. We will offer high school students prom photoshoots and will be attending community events such as races, festivals, etc.
