The Energy Management and Building Science Program
De Anza College offers Energy Management classes that prepare students for careers in building facilities audit and management, commercial building energy efficiency and renewable energy. Our curriculum focuses on energy saving strategies, principles, techniques and design concepts for managing commercial and residential buildings. Classes are des

igned for students just starting on their career paths or in career transition. Many of our students have four year technical or engineering degrees and are looking for up-to-date knowledge and experience in building operations, sustainability, clean technology alternatives and energy efficiency. Other students are incumbent employees in building operations or maintenance that are looking to continue or update their knowledge and education.
