Summer 2026 is officially underway at Star Kids Robotics and we have already had an incredible first half!

We kicked off the summer with Intro to Robotics where our youngest engineers learned data types, motor control, color sensors, line following, obstacle avoidance, and even played Cat and Mouse with EV3 robots. From there we jumped into Robot Gaming 1.0, one of our all time favorite camps ever, where students coded and played Mario Kart, Rocket League, Pac-Man, Hunger Games, and Wally's World, and built a fully functional Hungry Hippos pinball machine. Last week we wrapped up Agricultural Robotics (EcoBots) where students built a strawberry picking tractor rover, a self seeding and self watering farm bot on an XYZ coordinate system, and a solar tracking plant that followed the brightest light in the room.

Three weeks in and the energy, creativity, and smiles have been non stop. These kids are absolutely incredible and we are just getting started.

The second half of summer is going to be even bigger with CarBots, BattleBots, AniBots Humanoid Robotics, Robotics Extravaganza featuring a live demo from the Fremont High School Robotics Team on July 31st, and Robot Gaming 2.0 to close out the season.

EcoBots camp starts Monday June 22 in Cupertino and we have a few spots left.

This week kids build and program robots that interact with the real world — self-watering plant systems, automatic recycling sorters, solar-powered robots, smart home automation, and more. These are real engineering concepts being developed right now to solve some of the biggest challenges on the planet, and your child will spend a week building and coding them hands on.
Monday through Friday, June 22-26. 9am to 3pm. 10181 Finch Ave, Cupertino. Grades 1-6. No experience needed. $450 for the week while ticket price lasts.

Robots are already farming. Autonomous tractors, soil sensors, crop monitoring drones, and automated irrigation systems are changing agriculture faster than most people realize. In our Agricultural Robotics camp June 22 through 26, students build and program robots doing exactly this kind of work. Embedding Joy Within Technology.

BattleBots is not just a TV show. It is a real engineering discipline that requires structural design, strategic programming, and the ability to think on your feet when your robot takes a hit. Our BattleBots camp July 13 through 17 brings all of that to life for kids in grades 1 through 6.

Right now autonomous vehicles are navigating city streets without a human behind the wheel. This summer at CarBots camp, kids in grades 1 through 6 are building and programming their own autonomous robots right here in Cupertino.

The future is not that far away. www.starkidsafterschool.org/cupertinocamps

Embedding Joy Within Technology. That is what we do at Star Kids Robotics every single day. Not just teaching kids how robots work, but making sure they fall in love with the process of figuring it out.
