On Friday, April 24, the Nalvarian Armenian School students and families gathered at church to commemorate the 111th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. Each student shared their own family story, leading to a collective realization of our shared heritage and history rooted in Western Armenia. Together we remembered the 1.5 Armenian lives lost, honored our history, and cherished the fact that we are still here and we are still learning the language of our ancestors.

Our “Manti” cooking & family night brought together students, parents, and friends for an evening full of tradition, teamwork, and so much joy. From rolling dough to carefully filling each piece, we came together to create something truly special!
Moments like these are what make our school so special—celebrating our heritage, strengthening our bonds, and creating memories that last a lifetime.
A heartfelt thanks to Jeannine and Mihran Missirlian for hosting this wonderful gathering, and to all the generous families that helped make amazing!
