🍽️ Ham and Cheese Bread Rolls — Full Recipe

Crunchy, golden-fried bread rolls filled with savory ham and gooey melted cheese — a fun and easy snack perfect for any occasion!

Ingredients:
12 slices white bread
1/4 cup seedless strawberry jam
12 slices ham
4 ounces melting cheese (Eden or Velveeta), cut into 1/4-inch × 3-inch strips
2 eggs
1/4 cup milk
1 1/2 cups bread crumbs
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Canola oil, for frying

Instructions:
1. Trim the crusts off each slice of bread. Use a rolling pin to flatten each slice until very thin.

2. Spread a thin layer of strawberry jam on the flattened bread. Place a slice of ham on top and add a strip of cheese at one end.

3. Starting from the edge with the cheese, tightly roll the bread into a compact log. Seal the seam.

4. In one bowl, whisk the eggs and milk. In another shallow bowl, mix the bread crumbs with Italian seasoning.

5. Dip each roll into the egg mixture, then coat fully with the seasoned bread crumbs.

6. Heat about 2 inches of canola oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Fry the bread rolls seam-side down until golden brown and crispy on all sides. Drain on a wire rack.

7. Serve hot and enjoy while the cheese is melty!
