Congratulations to our Varsity and JV football teams who BOTH picked up wins tonight at Kenwood!

JV boys won 16-8.

Varsity toughed it out with a DOUBLE OT victory, 12-6.

Let’s hear it for Cross Country after battling the heat at another, steamy Saturday morning meet. Varsity and JV teams competed in the 7th Annual Green Hill XC Invitational at The Hermitage this morning.

The Boys team finished 5th overall.

Wyatt Balthrop finished 4th overall individually.

The Girls team finished 8th overall.

Ava Gunter finished 8th overall individually.

Wrestling Update!

Student and parent interest meeting has been announced for Thursday, September 3rd at 6:30 pm at MCMS!

If your student plans to participate, go ahead and schedule a sports physical appointment now!

After the appointment, go to Final Forms via the link below, create a profile, answer the questions, and UPLOAD digital photos or files of the sports physical. The most important page is the Medically Cleared Page with the doctors signature and the date.

Our custodians are such an important part of what makes Montgomery Central Middle School a great place to be! Today, we want to take a moment to recognize and thank them for everything they do for our school, our staff, and—most importantly—our students.

From keeping our building clean and welcoming to taking care of the countless things that happen behind the scenes, their hard work does not go unnoticed. They help make MCMS a place where our students can learn, grow, and feel at home.

Attention! Boys and Girls basketball Open Gym dates before October tryouts have been announced!

First one is tomorrow, August 17th for the boys!

If your middle schooler plans to tryout for one of the basketball teams be sure they don’t miss Open Gyms!

Don’t forget, every students needs to upload a current sports physical to Final Firms to tryout for a sport at MCMS.
