Chefs' Consortium

Chefs' Consortium The Chefs' Consortium is a non-profit that educates about the vitality and necessity of local food.

The Chefs’ Consortium educates and demonstrates the importance of locally-sourced food for the community and economy of New York State. We help form relationships between farmers and the chefs, schools, markets, restaurants and communities that would benefit from their goods. Through cooking classes, catered events, farmer advocacy, education and community activism, the Consortium will increase th

e impact and exposure of local products and tie the success of local agriculture to the success of the region, establishing an economically viable model for local food in the United States.
