Last month was really special for me. I got the chance to work with so many talented artists here in Atlanta for Naada Nartanam – Live Orchestra Dance Event, organized by Aarohi GT. I had the honor of doing Nattuvangam for the Margam, and honestly, it was such a meaningful and memorable experience.
I’m very grateful to Aarohi GT for giving me this opportunity. And a big thank you to my teacher, Smt. Gayatri Vasant, for always encouraging me and guiding me—I wouldn’t have been able to do this without her.
Feeling thankful for the whole experience and for getting to share the stage with such amazing artists.

Last Sunday, I had the privilege of presenting Nagumomu Ganaleni by Saint Tyagaraja at the North Georgia Indian Dance Festival, as part of a Manodharma section, an exploration rooted in spontaneity and deep emotional expression.
This piece dwells profoundly in Karuna rasa, the essence of compassion and pathos.
In the stillness of Ashoka Vatika, far from Ayodhya, sits Vaidehi Sita, the embodiment of strength and grace. Separated from Rama, surrounded by despair, yet unwavering in her faith, her heart longs for just one thing — the sight of his gentle smile.
Through this kriti, I sought to bring out Sita’s karuna — her quiet sorrow, her longing, and her tender, unshaken devotion. It is not just grief, but a deeply compassionate yearning… where love endures even in separation. For without Rama’s presence, even a moment feels like an eternity.
