A little invitation to explore, test, and wonder 💧🌿

Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, our children engaged in rich, hands-on exploration with water, ramps, and other materials—experimenting, problem-solving, and discovering how things move, flow, and change.
Moments like these are driven by curiosity, where children lead the learning, follow their ideas, and build understanding through real-world play and collaboration. So much thinking happening in such joyful, simple experiences! ✨

A peek into our toddler program and you’ll see moments like these—open-ended art activities, playful experimentation with materials, confidence-building discoveries, and simply enjoying the moment. At this age, it’s all about the process, and we love watching children explore, create, and grow in their own unique ways through meaningful, joyful play.

For 24 years, Little Sunshine’s Playhouse has been a place where curiosity moves, imaginations grow, and learning comes to life.

This month, as we celebrate Magic in Motion, we’re reminded that the real magic has always been the children, the laughter, and the love shared in every classroom.

🚧 Cone-tastic Fun in our Older Infant classroom! 🚧
Our little learners were hard at work setting up, exploring, and knocking down cones during large motor play today! 😊 Activities like these help strengthen coordination, balance, and muscle development while encouraging social interaction, problem-solving, and "crash" moments as the children discovered what happens when they build them up and knock them down! 💛.
Learning through play is always an adventure at Little Sunshine's! ☀️

🌈✨ Up, down, and all around! Our 2-year-olds had a blast working together to make the parachute soar, creating colorful waves and plenty of giggles along the way. As they lifted, shook, and stretched the parachute with their friends, they were also busy exploring and naming the bright colors they spotted.
Moments like these are packed with excitement, teamwork, movement, and learning—making every day an adventure! 💛💙❤️💚
