DEAR PARENTS,

PLEASE NOTE, THERE IS A TORNADO WATCH AND INCLEMENT WEATHER FORECAST.

FORSYTH COUNTY SCHOOLS ARE OPENING 2 HOURS DELAYED BECAUSE OF INCLEMENT WEATHER. GA'S PRE-K WILL ALSO OPEN 2 HOURS DELAYED. CLOSING TIME WILL BE AS NORMAL.

AS FOR OTHER DAYCARE PARENTS, PLEASE KEEP YOUR CHILD AT HOME UNTIL WEATHER IMPROVES. AT THIS TIME WE ARE NOT SURE HOW MANY OF OUR STAFF WILL BE ABLE TO COME SAFELY.

AS ALWAYS DURING INCLEMENT WEATHER, PLEASE CALL THE CENTER BEFORE LEAVING HOME TO ENSURE THAT WE HAVE STAFFING.

SCHOOL OPENING UPDATE:

GA PREK:

Closed on Monday Feb 2nd, based on Forsyth County school closure.

DAYCARE/PRESCHOOL:

Peachtree Parkway will open at 6:30 am.

Bethelview Road will open at 7:30 am, as we have staff driving from North of Cu***ng.

It is always special when a soldier in uniform walks into your office! What makes it extra special is that he is our GA's Pre-K Lead Teacher, Ms. Nikki's son!! To take this a step even further... it is extra extra special when this US Army Private First Class soldier happens to be an Ivy League Academy GA's Pre-K ALUMNUS !!! So yes, he and his siblings attended our GA's Pre-K program. We are so proud and wish him the very best in the future, and thank him for his service! 🇺🇸

SCHOOL OPENING UPDATE:

For Tuesday, Jan 27th, 2026

GA’S PRE-K is opening 2 hours delayed tomorrow which is 9:45am/10am accordingly to your child’s classroom. Closing time will be the same as usual, 2:15pm/2:30pm.

CHILDCARE/PRESCHOOL will open at 8 am tomorrow, which is an hour and half delayed. This will help those driving from North.

INCLEMENT WEATHER UPDATE 1/25/2026:

We were intially planning on updating our Jan 26th schedule tomorrow morning. At this time we are getting feedback that the ice storm situation is quite bad North of Cu***ng, from where many of our staff drive to work. Apparently tree branches are also breaking and falling because of the ice and rain. Lastly, the temperatures are going to fall tonight and will not get above freezing until 1 pm tomorrow. All of these are going to create potentially hazardous driving conditions tomorrow morning.

We believe is it is best to keep Bethelview and Peachtree Pkwy centers closed tomorrow Jan 26th, including daycare/preschool/Pre-K and Aftercare. We will update our schedule for Tuesday Jan 27th, tomorrow afternoon/evening.

INCLEMENT WEATHER UPDATE:

GA'S Pre-K will not be in session on Monday Jan 26th, 2026, inline with Forsyth County Schools. This is for Bethelview and Peachtree Pkwy locations.

We will update Preschool/Childcare/Aftercare schedule for Jan 26th, on Monday morning, depending on road conditions, availability of power, water etc.

Congrats!!! Our children in GA's Pre-K just completed 100th day of school. We are thrilled to see how they have opened up and we are very proud of their accomplishments. 👏
