It has been just a couple of years since this studio was founded. The unconditional support and positive word of mouth from parents and students has been truly overwhelming, which has made my studio one of the most recommended art studios on Google in our locality. This means more to me than I can express, as I’m well aware that my marketing skills are not great and I’m just good at consistently pursuing my passion.

This journey has also opened up beautiful opportunities, and one such special moment was being invited as Chief Guest and Judge recently for the art competition at Pujari Atlanta, a 40-year-old socio-cultural organization, for their Welcoming Spring Saraswathi Puja event!

Today’s art camp went really well! Learning from my previous camp, I planned today’s session to ensure we wrap up on time. I’m glad it worked out, and it was wonderful to see the participants enjoy themselves and create such beautiful art. I’ve already started receiving pictures of the paintings displayed in their homes, which is truly heartwarming to see. Thank you all for the wonderful support!

Studio Space ❤️

Nila (Grade 3) and Dhrithi (Grade 1) have been coming to class regularly for over a year now. A heartfelt thanks to their moms, Selvi and Charmi, who thoughtfully planned alternate carpooling so the girls never missed a session - their steady support has been such a blessing for this journey.

Today, we had a little test of the subject “Heart Drizzle” - a rainbow drizzling tiny hearts, with clouds and a blushing, smiling sun - something they had learned some time ago. With just ten minutes to review, they recreated all the elements entirely from memory, without looking at the original. Their work was nothing short of delightful and so impressive! These are the moments that truly light me up!

Looking back, we’ve probably shared about 40 classes together so far. To think they started out as little kids practicing how to draw straight lines without bends, and today they’re confidently putting together such complete artwork - it fills me with joy and pride. ❤️

For me, teaching drawing has never been only about technique. It’s about nurturing creativity, watching these little transformations unfold, and celebrating every milestone together!
