Real-world rescue skills in action! 🚒🧗‍♂️

Chief Erdely’s CTAE Fire and Emergency Services students wrapped up their rope rescue chapter with a full-scale embankment simulation.

Responding to a simulated vehicle accident, our Avengers deployed down a steep drop-off to perform a rapid EMS assessment. They secured the patient in a Stokes rescue basket and engineered a mechanical Z-rig rope system to safely haul them up the hill for medical transport.

This is what hands-on, career-ready training looks like. Outstanding work by our future first responders!

Mrs. Petree’s AP Microeconomics class is taking diminishing marginal utility from theory directly to practice!

To understand how the value of an additional item decreases over time, students continuously added party accessories as their lesson progressed. By the end of the period, the data was clear: the thrill of the first party hat is high, but the utility of the fourth or fifth drops significantly.

This is a fantastic visual breakdown of consumer behavior and market utility. We love seeing our educators build engaging, high-level learning environments that prepare our students for the real world!
