Our Story

Proud to offer a high quality individualized Montessori education experience, focused on fostering independence combined with a sense of community and global awareness, in each and every child. Serving Children 8 weeks - 18 years “Education is a natural process carried out by the child and is not acquired by listening to words but by experiences in the environment.” Dr. Maria Montessori We serve children starting at 8 weeks through 18 years with a rich and rewarding Montessori experience providing a comprehensive method of education resulting from an integration of research on development, learning, curriculum, and teaching. We offer two campus locations: Montessori Academy at Sharon Springs and Montessori at Vickery. Our curriculum offers children a carefully prepared environment, rich in learning materials and experiences. Students are grouped in mixed-age classrooms. Mixed-age classrooms allow students to interact with each other on a variety of levels. The teacher is a facilitator in the learning process. Through careful observation and guidance, children are directed toward meaningful activity, which help them discover and develop their own interests and abilities.
