RAMBO Dads are showing up for CCA! ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›

Last week, our RAMBO Dads gathered for breakfast, spent time building relationships, and then jumped right in to help with morning carpool.

That is what this program is all about! These are godly men being present, serving our school, encouraging students, and helping strengthen the community and culture of CCA.

We are grateful for the men who are willing to give their time and lead by example!

Science is sweeter when it comes to life! ๐Ÿฏ๐Ÿ

As part of their plants and pollination unit, our 2nd grade students got a firsthand look at Godโ€™s incredible design in action. Mrs. Beaumont shared honeycomb from her familyโ€™s home beehives, along with wildflower honey and homemade sourdough bread. This gave students a memorable way to connect what they are learning in science to the world around them.

Faith in the Classroom ๐Ÿ“–

Our middle school students are studying ๐€๐œ๐ญ๐ฌ ๐Ÿโ€“๐Ÿ’, learning about the beginning of the early church, the work of the Holy Spirit, and the bold faith of the first believers.

As they study Scripture together, students are growing in their understanding of Godโ€™s Word and considering what it means to live out their faith with courage and purpose.

๐Ÿ“š Exploring Literature Through ๐˜‰๐˜ฆ๐˜ฐ๐˜ธ๐˜ถ๐˜ญ๐˜ง

British Literature students completed an in-depth study of the epic poem ๐˜‰๐˜ฆ๐˜ฐ๐˜ธ๐˜ถ๐˜ญ๐˜ง, going beyond the story to examine the history, relationships, and culture surrounding the text.

Students created genealogies of both the Danes and the Geats. They traced how key characters were connected, and they explored the important role alliances played during the Anglo-Saxon period.

This kind of study challenges students to read closely, think critically, and understand literature within the historical world that shaped it.

Covenant varsity football earned our first win in program history, 34-6, over Donovan Catholic Friday night. Congratulations to our players,coaches, families, and fans on this historic achievement.

The Rams will be back in action on September 11th at home vs. Holy Spirit Prep. Kickoff is set for 7:30.

Through hands-on building challenges, students explored new concepts, put their creativity and problem-solving skills to work, and applied what they learned using LEGOยฎ bricks.

TRUST IN THE FOUNDATION.

For CCA alumna Lauren Magnon, the foundation built at Covenant has continued far beyond graduation.

Now a third-year medical student at the Medical College of Georgia, Lauren credits CCA with preparing her both academically and spiritually for life beyond a Christian community.

โ€œCCA gave me the foundation and tools to form meaningful relationships with people from different backgrounds and thoughtfully answer their questions about Christianity and the Lord.โ€

Third grade is exploring ecosystems and food chains through hands-on learning! ๐ŸŒŽ๐ŸŒฑ

Students worked together to identify producers and consumers and build food chains showing how energy moves through an ecosystem. Activities like these take science beyond the textbook and give students the opportunity to learn by creating, collaborating, and discovering.
