Sometimes how you’re treated is a reflection of how you value yourself. You teach people how to treat you and those boundaries help determine the volume of those you truly value. Everyone you know and meet won’t become a friend and that’s ok. Acquaintances are great to have too. If you cannot see your reflection in the relationships you call friendships, you either need to reassess the ship, which you craft according to your view of you, or a new friend who’s not vested in sinking the ship you built.
