Hello MSAers!!!!
MIST is around the corner and us officers have been working really hard to make this MIST year the best one yet!! We are glad to say that our hijabs and ties for you guys have arrived!! We will be holding another MIST meeting this thursday to distribute the hijabs and bow ties as well as the shirt for this MIST/ school year. We will also be practicing our chants one last time and going through important reminders and information during this meeting that will be necessary to know about before going into MIST.
The location is still undertermined but we will be holding it from 6-8 inshallah. Please try to come so we can make this MIST year amazing and one for the books!!
P.S. don't forget to keep practicing for competitions and aim high for that trophy!!

T-11 days (if I did the math correctly) until MIST 2017!! So excited to chant as loud as I can and spend another day immersed in the Muslim community in the USA for just another year, with a bigger, louder, and ever so excited team👊🏽👊🏽

This was our donation box for the ICNA food drive last month. After keeping it open for donations for a month, only one person donated and our teacher emailed us the picture of the box below and titled it "saddest donation box in the world". Alhamdullilah for this month, we collaborated with the Beta Club at our school, and got that many donations!! 🎉🎉🎉

After reading an article about how a masjid in Springfield responded to hate messages that a Disposal company wrote on their billboard, we were inspired to be more patient.
