Bio Ability is currently seeking Adaptive Sport/Fitness Instructors with experience working with children and teens with special needs. Suitable candidates include special education or PE teachers, certified fitness professionals, and Gymnastics coaches. To express interest, please email [email protected] your resume.

Bio Ability is dedicated to delivering specialized summer camps for school-aged children with special needs. Our camps operate on a 3-hour schedule, with morning sessions from 9-11 am and afternoon sessions from 1-4 pm, each priced at $75. The camps comprise a mix of gymnastics, sports, arts, and crafts, in addition to free play and educational activities aimed at developing fine motor skills. A key aspect of our program is the integration of special needs campers with neuro-typical peers at Bio Gymnastics camp, promoting a cohesive and inclusive environment.

Each year on May 7th, National Barrier Awareness Day brings attention to the obstacles that prevent individuals with disabilities from fully engaging in society, with the goal of breaking down these physical, social, and attitudinal barriers. Bio Ability is committed to increasing access to adaptive gymnastics and fitness opportunities.

April 2nd is observed as Autism Awareness Day. Bio Ability recognizes the benefits of physical activity for children with Autism. Are you aware that gymnastics is particularly beneficial for children with Autism? Some of the key benefits include improved physical development, enhanced social skills, and better sensory integration.
