I am so excited to be opening Foundations Learning Center in Hope Mills, NC on January 3rd, 2018! This has been my desire for such a long time. God has truly given me the desires of my heart. Who knew that I would even have this love for teaching His precious children? God knew! I think it was a set-up. When my youngest child entered the school system, I followed him. 😊 I began volunteering and eventually substituting at my children’s elementary school. My love for the classroom inspired me to pursue a degree in education. I went on to complete a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a concentration in Child Development and a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education. I so loved working as a K-4 teacher at a great Christian center and working as a kindergarten teacher at an awesome elementary school! Miss you guys! In this year of W.O.W. God has granted my desire! Foundations Learning Center is not my job. It is our mission and responsibility to provide a loving, caring, and nurturing environment for our children. We offer a well- rounded, fun-filled quality educational preschool program using a Bible-based S.T.E.A.M. curriculum incorporating the sciences, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics. Our S.T.E.A.M. activities help support curiosity, creativity, and innovative thinking. We are currently enrolling ages 2-5 in our preschool program and ages 5-12 in our after school program.
