Señora Shorey

Señora Shorey Mikaela Shorey is a Spanish teacher whose goal is to instill a love of language and culture in her students. Mrs.

She has taught every level of high school Spanish during her seven years in the public school system, after earning degrees in education and Spanish, and spending time in Latin America. She currently spends most of her time caring for her family, but does private tutoring at every level from remedial and 5th year high schoolers, to enthusiastic primary school students. Shorey also teaches at Good

Company tutorials and Lightening Learners. She puts together her own curriculum, and aiming to reach that important balance: helping students work hard while having lots of fun.

Who knew Mr. Potato Head could help teach Spanish?

Language learning is most effective when students are actively involved. Hands-on activities make class interactive, engaging, and, most importantly, memorable!

When students laugh, create, move, and use the language in meaningful ways, they're far more likely to remember what they've learned. By engaging multiple learning styles and giving students regular opportunities to speak, listen, read, and interact, they build language skills that stick in their long-term memory.
