Mercymount Country Day School Mercymount is an independent Catholic school that has been providing academic excellence grounded in faith since 1948!

We serve grades PreSchool - Grade 8 in the northern RI / south central MA region. Due to an electrical transformer failure on the Mercymount Country Day School property, the school is currently without power and phone service and is closed at this time.

Rhode Island Energy is actively working to restore power as quickly and safely as possible. We anticipate returning to normal operations on Thursday, July 9, pending the successful restoration of power. We will continue to provide updates if anything changes.
