The Cumberland School Volunteers is offering one $500 scholarship to a CHS senior who has been actively engaged in volunteer community service activities and/or has participated in charitable activities. If you are applying to college and are eligible, please complete the application on our website www.cumberlandschoolvolunteers.org

Yearbook Needs YOU!: Dear Parents of CHS Seniors,
This is a last call for any photo submissions that you would like to include in the yearbook. The last day we will be accepting photos is this Sunday February 28th as the yearbook students need time to go through and arrange the photos in the book. We are asking for the following photos:
Professional Senior Photos: these are any professional photos done outside of Mare Studios
Sibling Photos: these should be recent photos of any siblings currently attending CHS
Seniors Through the Years: Any photos of your senior and their friends from K-early high school
Spring Sports photos: If your senior has participated in spring sports as a 9th or 10th grader, please send us photos of them and their teammates. We do not have any spring sports photos from the 2019-2020 season due to Covid cancellations and the 2020-2021 spring season is starting after our yearbook is due. We want to make sure that any senior who has participated in spring sports is not left out.

Yearbook Looking for Photos: Hello! The yearbook club needs more photos! Right now, we only have a few 9th, 10th and 11th grade photos. If you would like your class to be represented in the yearbook, please send us some photos! Even one or two from each of you would be helpful. If you are willing to donate some photos of you and your friends, please email them to Mrs. Russo or Mrs. Petti OR you can DM them to our instagram page . Thank you for the help!!

We are trying to make their yearbook as special as possible, despite the lack of events. Here is a list of photos we are looking for to help honor the seniors and make their yearbook more interesting.
1. Professional senior portraits: if any seniors have done professional portraits (not done through Mare studios) we would love to include them in the yearbook.
2. Seniors throughout the years: we would like to do a throwback senior section. You have already sent in baby pictures, but if you have any photos of your seniors from elementary school, middle or early high school years, please send them to us!
3. Sibling photos: every year we do a sibling page. If you have photos of your senior student and their sibling, we would like to showcase them!
We will have an ongoing collection of these photos, but please send them no later than the end of February.

U.S. Presidential Scholars Program The U.S. Presidential Scholars Program was established in 1964, by executive order of the President, to recognize and honor some of our nation's most distinguished graduating high school seniors.

Chorus News: Congratulations to Heather Bliss and Harry Kenyon who have been chosen to participate in the NAfME All-Eastern Honors Ensembles! Heather will perform with the All-Eastern Treble Choir and Harry will perform with the All-Eastern Mixed Choir. This is a great honor and it will be a wonderful experience for our students!

This school year has been a tough year for students and staff, but the ones that seem to be most impacted is this year's seniors. We are trying to make their yearbook as special as possible, despite the lack of events. Here is a list of photos we are looking for to help honor the seniors and make their yearbook more interesting.

Student Pictures - One More Chance: We have decided to add an additional make-up day for school pictures. Our move towards touchless surfaces this year has been aided by the bar codes on our student IDs. We would like every family to consider having their student take their school picture so up-to-date IDs can be processed. Recent requests to have student pictures taken have resulted in a coordinated effort with Mare Studios for another opportunity.
