Terriers at FLL World festival.
It was an amazing experience. We had such a great time meeting amazing teams from all over the world. Also the experience watching FRC teams in action is unforgettable. Hope to return again in the future 😀.

Last weekend, our team had an opportunity to compete in the RI qualifiers at Portsmouth Middle School, and it was an absolute amazing day! We secured the top spot in the robot score and ultimately won the championship. A huge shout-out to First LEGO League Rhode Island and Portsmouth Middle School for their efforts in making this event successful.

Now, we are eagerly waiting to participate in the state finals on 01/27

Last weekend, the Robotic Terriers proudly represented the state of Rhode Island at the prestigious WPI open invitation event. With 75 teams from around the globe participating, the atmosphere was absolutely electrifying,

Terriers participated enthusiastically, the judges were truly amazed by their passion and dedication for FLL. It was journey filled with learning, growth and unforgettable memories. A big shout out to the team for their hard work and commitment.

We are thankful to the First LEGO League Rhode Island for giving this incredible opportunity to be part of such a remarkable event.

The team participated in the State finals and competed against 16 other teams from the state. The robot they built performed exceptionally well, and the team showed resilience and enthusiasm throughout the competition. They impressed the judges with their graciousness and well-preparedness during the rigorous questioning about their innovation project. As a result, they were awarded the 2nd Championship in the State finals and will now represent the state of Rhode Island in the International Open event.

Our first season in the FLL tournament was the 2020, RePlay season. We were a rookie team that consisted of 5 members and we had worked mostly online due to Covid-19. Our innovation project was an exercise video for people in wheelchairs. We had done many activities for core values such as going on a hike, creating our own games to play, doing escape rooms and more. We attended a mock competition to see how the judges would score us on our performance, and for practice. With the feedback from the judges, we were able achieve 1st place in robot design and 3rd place in robot game, which we were proud of. Overall, we had so much fun together in our first season of FLL.

We do Robot Design, Innovation Project, Core Values, and Robot Game. We are amazing, hardworking, and compassionate people who are friendly and helpful to everyone we meet.
