Silver Medal Winners! Congratulations to our Girls 4x1 team for placing 2nd at the MD 1A State Championships. The team ran a time of 50.35 & consisted of Jaden Emerson, Arri Sanchez, Caniyah Plummer, and Harmani Palmisano. Congrats ladies!

We have the Maryland 1A Girls Triple Jump State Champ! Congratulations to sophomore Sadie Hamilton for taking home the gold medal with a jump of 35’ 5.5”! This is also a new school sophomore record. The previous record was set by MaeLeigh Plummer in 2023 with a jump of 34’ 9.5” Way to go Sadie!

We have the Maryland 1A Girls 100H State Champ! Congratulations to senior Jaden Emerson for taking home the gold medal with a time of 14.81! This is also a new school record! The previous record was held by Williams in 1983 with a time of 14.9. That’s a great way to finish her high school track career. Way to go Jaden! We will miss you!

He won another! We have the Maryland 1A Boys Discus State Champ! Congratulations to junior Casey Martz for taking home the gold medal with a throw of 146’ 7”! Casey is also the shot put State Champ. Way to go Casey!

MPSSAA Tournament Advisory -Update at 5/22/26 - 5:00 p.m. - Track and Field Update Please be advised of the following schedule updates.
Day 2 of the Track and Field
Championships has been moved to Monday, May 25, 2026 beginning at 10 a.m.
• Please note the decision to move
Day 2 of the track and field championships was made based forecasted wind gusts of 20 plus mph preventing team tents and cover of athletes in lower 50-degree temperatures with consistent rain.
• All four classifications will compete using the same schedule of events originally published for Day 2 championships.
