Faces for Equality

Faces for Equality Striving to create safe and supportive space for LGBTQ+ people to express themselves through art. To be open and proud about their identity without fear.

As many people know LGBTQ+ youth are at a high risk for homelessness as well as drugs and alcohol abuse. This organization strives to change that, we want to be able to give young struggling teens the ability to turn their frustrations into something positive, while building a lasting support system. We put on fashion shows, art shows and an on going national photography project to bring pride to

our participants and educate our local communities. Our educational team does presentations to middle schools, high school and colleges around Maine as well as professional development and national seminars.
