Here are some highlights from last year's celebration!

Those in the Culver/Northern Indiana area are invited to a special program this Saturday, June 25, starting at 10:30 a.m.
Jeff Kenney, Culver Museum Archives Manager and local historian; and Kathy Lintner, former Dean of Faculty and editor of the Culver Alumni magazine, will present, "CGA at 50: Empowering Future Leaders," focusing on the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Culver Girls Academy in the fall of 1971, an event that generated a “coordinate” program which grew into one of the world's premiere educational program for young women.
The event coincides with the recent release of the coffee table style book, "Culver Daughters," a history of CGA, by Ginny Bess Munroe '86 and Joan Bess (and edited by Kenney), and will take place at the Culver Public Library in downtown Culver. The Antiquarian and Historical Society of Culver is sponsoring the free program as part of its series of summer events on local history.

Today, we’re honored to host Condoleezza Rice as the keynote speaker of our year-long CGA 50th celebration.

Secretary Rice served as the 66th U.S. Secretary of State from 2005 to 2009, is currently the Denning Professor in Global Business and the Economy at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, the Thomas and Barbara Stephenson Senior Fellow on Public Policy at the Hoover Institution, and Professor of Political Science at Stanford University. Secretary Rice engaged with students and faculty throughout the day, culminating in a student-led discussion for the full community.

Introducing the CGA 50th Anniversary Alumnae Exhibition: 45 artworks by 24 graduates of CAG and CGA now on display in the Crisp Visual Arts Center.

The exhibition features alumnae painters, sculptors, and printmakers, in addition to works of architecture, blown glass, fabric, stained glass, and graphic design. This historic, celebratory collection is open to the public and will run until July 29, 2022.
