In her free time she expanded her business as a private educator by teaching English to Spanish-speaking business professionals. After teaching and exploring Europe for four years, Stephanie spent three years in New York, where she earned her Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) certification. During her ABA training Stephanie was responsible for implementing, monitoring and graphing goals to monitor student success during Discrete Trial Training (DTT). In 2009, Stephanie’s journey as an educator brought her to Los Angeles, California where she now resides. Her work is focused on the development of individualized programs of study, which emphasize the skills and strategies that are most effective for each unique learner. Stephanie is passionate about discovering the unique nuances of how each student learns and uses that as a tool to increase their overall learning potential. She employs a multi-sensory methodology to introduce and practice skill acquisition with students. Stephanie’s personal experience in education coupled with her highly sought after field experience has positioned her to be highly attuned to the learning needs and processes of her students. Through the careful development of a uniquely structured program for each student, Stephanie creates the space for her students to become active participants in their own learning process. With over 10 years of experience as a private educator developing and implementing individualized educational programs, Stephanie’s work has had a profound impact on the lives of her students and their families.
