The Golden Box is a two-day in-depth lecture that breaks down the technical map
used at The Los Angeles Acting School. Learn how to create vivid, fleshed out, and interesting characters through an intense and emotional workshop with lectures and technique exercises.
You will learn to develop your own “Golden Box” of techniques and tools that you can use when approaching a role or a scene, whether it be for film, television, or theater. The Michelle Danner Acting Studio’s philosophy is that artists can draw upon all different acting techniques and form an individual toolbox, their own Golden Box. The Acting School’s acting techniques are based on Meisner, Strasberg, Adler, Hagen, Chekhov & the Stanislavsky Technique.

Michelle teaches a technique that is effective for actors of various skill levels. The Golden Box will teach you how to get out of your head, follow your impulses, and begin to live completely in the moment. By finding your own unique emotional triggers, you will learn to access your full range of feelings and emotions at a moment’s notice

For international students who require a student visa, our Los Angeles Acting School issues the I-20 Form, which will allow you to apply for a student visa.

“THE MOTHER” STARRING JENNIFER LOPEZ

Casting leading role ZOE (11-15 years old)
Actress should be able to portray someone with Latinx heritage, have an American Accent and be open to physical training for this very active and exciting role.

Character: Zoe is a 13-year-old girl, the cherished adopted child of a loving couple. Zoe’s life has been ordinary in the very best way. Her regular life ends when her identity is discovered, and she is violently kidnapped in an attempt to draw out her real mother. Separated from her adopted parents, Zoe is thrown into a relationship with her birth mother who is ill-equipped emotionally, but who has a primal need to love and protect her. And teach her how to survive.

Story: After ten years hidden in the Alaskan wilderness, a deadly female assassin, THE MOTHER, must come out of hiding to protect the young daughter she had to give up at birth.

The script is confidential at this time but will be shared as they narrow down their contenders for final callbacks.
