**2016 Lin Howe Silent & Live Auction Night News**
We are in the throws of planning the 2016 Linwood E. Howe Live & Silent Auction Evening - scheduled for March 5th @ 7pm at the Culver Hotel (event details & ticket sales information coming in the following weeks!).
This week your child should be bringing home a flier asking for DONATIONS for the event. We know there are many of you that have access to amazing possible donations - either through work, family or friends.
PLEASE, please take some time and think about ways you could donate something to the auction. Some ideas are: Tickets to sporting events, Time-share spots, vacation rentals, do you teach lessons (cooking, yoga, sports, music??), concert tickets, hotel rooms, music, movies, toys, gift baskets, tickets to filming, tours, sporting goods, camps...etc. Basically, anything you think a room full of amazing parents would want to bid on.
We would be deeply grateful for your contribution! Please fill out the form your child brought home and bring it into the school office - there is a basket marked "2016 AUCTION DONATIONS".
Feel free to contact me with questions, thoughts or ideas!
Thank you!

We lost a true force of nature with the passing of our beloved, Leah Nico. Our hope is to honor her memory and her vision for Linwood Howe with the Kindergarten Amphitheater project.
“For years Leah was part of the Linwood Howe Green Team and looked after the Butterfly Garden and Semi-Annual School Beautification. This year Leah stepped up to run the Green Team,” said Amy Salzmann, friend. “We identified one of the big projects we would like to push forward was the Kindergarten Amphitheater Garden. This is an idea Leah had for a couple years, and finally we thought it's time to make it happen – and now, more than ever, our community is running on every cylinder to make this a reality to dedicate to our beloved Leah.”
If you would like to make a contribution directly to the Green Team for this project, you can follow this link: http://tinyurl.com/LinHoweBoosters-Leah
