This event will provide a comprehensive overview of the bar examination. The purpose of the workshop is to introduce current law students and law school graduates to the bar exam, of any state, and demystify its components.

The speakers will be Rodney O. Fong, Associate Dean for Academic Achievement, Institutional Assessment, and Bar Preparation at The University of Chicago School of Law, and Anthony Solana, Jr., Founder of For People of Color, Inc.

This event is free and open to the public.

FPOC will be holding a Bar Exam Workshop (Webinar) on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 10:00 am (Pacific).

The State Bar of California recently released its first annual Report Card on the Diversity of California’s Legal Profession. What they found was that although law schools are training more students from underrepresented backgrounds to be attorneys, the demographics of the legal profession have been slower to change. Particularly in leadership positions, California’s lawyers do not reflect the state’s diverse population.
