Each and everyone had different skills and roles in their respective SNFs, Sub-Acute, Long Term Care facilities that contributed to the event! Don’t be fooled by the wrong information in the internet about how to become a MDS Nurse (Minimum Data Set Nurse). Fact: You don’t have to have a BSN to start doing MDS assessements. needs to learn from this.

A surveyor asked a question you couldn’t answer. Any beginner or seasoned MDS coordinator can freeze during a survey. When surveyors ask difficult questions, confidence comes from preparation- not perfection. You don’t have to know everything. You just need to know where to find the answer.
