Today is my graduation day!!
For me this is a start to a new chapter in my life. Today is the last day of the Kennedy Family Child Care. It's been an amazing learning experience in my life and I have to say that I am so grateful to God and to all my clients, families,children ,my mom,my daughters and all my employees that worked with me. As well as all my friends who were there to support me during both great and hard times.
All of you were part of my growth and helped me to become the person I am now. All my success and triumphs are due to each of you who helped me in different ways. I never thought I would be in this business for 18 years! I truly had the best families and Children, I learned a lot from each child that came to my program. Every lesson we had during the day wasn’t only for them to learn but for me as well. Teaching is not always easy. In teaching, you must teach not only by books but by your actions. As an adult and teacher I have to be the best example for the children.
Together we learned about communication, selfcontrol, respect, love, kindness and to be aware of others. To not give up, and to push yourself to the maximum without hurting yourself. All in all I’ve learned a lot throughout the years and this is something I hold dear and am forever grateful and thankful for.

Sad News...

I want to start by thanking you for having your child with me in my care. It’s been so wonderful to watch them grow. I appreciate you trusting me with your child. It’s been so nice having such a sweet and loving community of families.

It is with much sadness to announce that I will be closing my daycare after being in business for 18 years.

I’m heartbroken and sad to have made this decision. I wish you all the best and many blessings to your family. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Our last day at Kennedy Family Child Care will be September 15 2023.

Thank you again for sharing your child with me. I’m forever grateful for your family.

Overdue update. Bear with us!

After 10+ years in Santa Monica, Paty's House concluded its tenure on Yale Street and effective May 2023 moved to a beautifully renovated home in the Del Rey section of LA's Westside. The new location is just minutes from Silicon Beach and the communities of Playa Vista, Westchester, Marina Del Rey and Mar Vista. We're thankful to the families who have remained with us, but we are now ready to enroll new local families and have immediate openings for infants (4 slots for kids 0 - 24 months) and toddlers (24 months and over) == Please Help Us Spread the Word!

Mayra and Teresa also remain with Kennedy Family Child Care, providing crucial continuity and stability.

The new house is simply amazing and Paty is tremendously proud of how it's turned out. The front yard has a sizable edible garden, a new water play structure and a play yard. In the back, Paty has set up an outdoor circle time area along with the playground set (includes swing) and the toddler-sized picnic table for outdoor meals. In the rear of the yard you will find the rabbits that have joined the family. Later this summer an elderly tortoise is also expected to join the household.
