Staff Spotlight: Mrs. Higdon has been working at CCHS for 3 years in our Math Department. Before joining us, she taught math and computer science at Waynesburg University. She loves working here because every day brings something new alongside her students, whether it’s a new story, a dad joke, a puzzle to solve, or, best of all, a breakthrough learning moment. These moments constantly remind her of how much she loves her job.
She is originally from Central Oregon, however Mrs. Higdon also lived in western Pennsylvania before settling in Culpeper. She is a plant enthusiast—so much so that she accidentally grew 42 bell pepper plants this past year!
