Just like yesterday, I think Spirit is reemphasizing the message of peace and hope. I am reminded that a dove was said to have come and landed on Jesus early on in his ministry as a sign of favor and acknowledgment of his mission. Each of us can be a beacon of peace and hope in our own circle of influence today. Let us lay down the sword ( or the guns) and take up the call to be at peace with one another, despite our differences. We are the family of humanity. We can simultaneously stand for peace and oppose injustice of all kinds. When we cease to see our brothers and sisters as enemies and instead as family, maybe we can have a conversation. Maybe we can set aside our grievances and work on a common goal of peace and basic human rights for all.

Thus the ancient power of the Divine Feminine sustains itself in our hearts. No matter that the official story focuses on a male child. Our human need for balance asserts itself, and this becomes a grand festival of the Holy Mother. This is every bit as much Mary’s holiday as it is Her child’s.”
