2026 Availability & Services Update ✨

Right now, I offer a single comprehensive package and am able to take on one birth client per month. I am currently accepting a limited number of birth clients for the remainder of 2026. Please note that my availability will be paused from June through September 2026 as I focus on completing my LC and PMH certifications.

Limited birth support will be available in 2027. Please email me to inquire about availability for your due date.

As my practice evolves, my focus will increasingly shift toward teaching birth education, providing lactation counseling, and postpartum support, though I will always have a love for birth support and remain open to supporting a few births each year.

What I would tell a first time mom? My answer is that it doesn’t matter if you choose a scheduled c-section, induction, VBAC, or a medicated or unmedicated birth. What you feel most comfortable with is best, but it’s important to understand what your body is capable of and how that aligns with the birth you envision. Combining that knowledge with evidence-based research will help you feel confident and prepared for your birth experience.

2025 Availability ✨

2025 is an exciting year for my family! We’re moving, renovating, and will be juggling a lot of change. I’m also officially starting my lactation consultant certification 🎉

With that said next year I’m intentionally taking on fewer clients to ensure I can show up fully for those I do work with—while also maintaining my own well-being and prioritizing balance. I feel that by creating space for rest and growth, I can continue to advocate for the families I serve with the care and dedication they deserve 💕

I’m often asked what to eat or drink during labor.
Something I always recommend is bone broth- it’s high in protein, light on your stomach, and supports muscle strength. Bring it to a hospital with an ice pack, once you arrive ask your nurses to store it in the l&d fridge! When you’re ready for it warm it up in your favorite mug from home ♥️ You can buy bone broth or make your own. I’m now offering this as a service for my clients. I’ll make you fresh bone broth (chicken or beef) and bring it in a thermos to your birth when you call me in! Details will be added to my website this week 😊

This last month has been busy with trainings, prenatals, and events! I missed Octobers birth month flowers but here they are. I promise I’ll get November’s in time. This page will always be filled with flowers, birth, and breastfeeding support. I believe there is a deep connection between nature and birth..a nourished flower knows how to bloom on its own, just as a mother’s body intuitively knows how to birth.

Fun fact when we see flowers our brains are flooded with happy hormones such as dopamine, oxytocin and serotonin. During labor we rely on the hormone oxytocin, also called the “love hormone” to stimulate uterine contractions. Oxytocin also plays a huge part in postpartum and breastfeeding.

Octobers birth month flowers are Marigolds and Cosmos.
Marigolds signify strength, resilience, and the ability to overcome challenges. Cosmo flowers symbolize harmony and peace. They are often linked to the idea of finding beauty in both small and grand aspects of life.

I realize I’m a bit late on September birth flowers, but I couldn’t skip these beauties!!!

•Aster symbolizes wisdom, love, and faith, and is often associated with patience and elegance. Its vibrant petals also represent a wish for good fortune and are thought to bring emotional balance.

•Morning Glory symbolizes affection, renewal, and the fleeting nature of life since its blooms open with the morning sun and fade by night 💙💜

One of my biggest frustrations as a mom and doula 👉 when people tell new mothers that taking a shower or attending to basic needs doesn’t qualify as self-care. Do what you need to make yourself feel better, whether that’s taking a shower, finishing laundry, making a nutritious meal- all of those things count!

🍼Contact us if you have questions! • Guide to Newborn Stomach Capacity

Day 1: 5-7ml | 0.1-0.2oz
Day 3: 22-27ml | 0.8-1oz
Week 1: 45-60ml | 1.5-2oz
1 Month: 80-150ml | 2.5-5oz

At one month most lactating parents will be producing nearly as much milk as their baby will ever need. Because the rate of growth slows as babies get older they continue to need about the same amount of human milk per day from one month to six months of age. The nursing pattern will change during that time even though the volume of intake over the day remains much the same.
