Applications for the 17th Annual Handmade Holiday Sale close this Friday, October 16 at 11:59 PM.

WCU students, faculty, staff, and alumni creating high-quality handmade artwork, ceramics, sculpture, jewelry, textiles, wearable art, and more are invited to apply.

Space is limited to just over 20 artists, so don't miss your chance to be part of this year's sale! The application link can be found in the bio or at arts.wcu.edu/handmadeholiday.

🍂 Fall Break is here, but BAC is still open!

While WCU students enjoy a few days away from classes, Bardo Arts Center will remain open during our regular hours: 10 AM - 4 PM Tuesday - Friday, and 10 AM - 7 PM Thursday.

📚 An Evening with David Sedaris

Best-selling author, NPR humorist, playwright, and comedian David Sedaris returns to Bardo Arts Center on Thursday, October 29!

Known for his sharp wit and unmistakable storytelling, Sedaris will take the BAC stage for a live reading of new material followed by an audience Q&A.

Plus, arrive early or stay after the event for a book signing, with books available for purchase from City Lights Bookstore that will have a table set up at Bardo Arts Center.

Best-selling author, NPR humorist, playwright, and comedian David Sedaris returns to Bardo Arts Center on Thursday, October 29 for an evening of his signature wit and storytelling.

Now on view at the WCU Fine Art Museum

Visit Bardo Arts Center to experience Mary Stewart: Apocalypse Series and Other Works.

Created in the 1990s in response to the Gulf War, Stewart’s Apocalypse Series considers conflict, anxiety, and loss through a civilian perspective.

Don’t forget to join us for an exhibition reception on Tuesday, September 22 from 5–7 PM. The reception is free and open to the public.
