Throwback Thursday!

We’re looking back at the last time the Kruger Brothers took the BAC stage because they’ll be back in Cullowhee in just FOUR WEEKS!

On Thursday, September 17 at 7:30 PM, the Kruger Brothers return to Bardo Arts Center, joined by the Soluna String Quartet for a special evening blending their signature sound with expressive chamber arrangements.

Congratulations to Kim, our Admin Support Specialist!

At last week’s 2026 Summer Institute for Administrative Support Professionals Opening Reception, Kim received the Best Director Award, a nomination-based honor recognizing her talent “for orchestrating complex operations with skill and precision.”

If you’ve attended an event at Bardo Arts Center, whether a performance, reception, rental event, or anything in between, chances are, it has crossed Kim’s desk. Her brainpower, attention to detail, and willingness to jump in wherever needed help us create the best possible experience for everyone who walks through BAC’s doors.

Simply put, we couldn’t do what we do without her.

Congratulations, Kim! This recognition is so well deserved! 💜

This fall, the WCU Fine Art Museum presents Veteran Obsolete: Geoffrey Bowton, a powerful exhibition that invites visitors to reflect on the lasting impact of military service.

Drawing from his own experiences as a U.S. Army Sergeant, Geoffrey Bowton transforms symbolic military gear into striking glass sculptures that illuminate the often-unseen challenges veterans face after returning to civilian life. Addressing themes of PTSD, depression, resilience, and the enduring psychological effects of war, the exhibition encourages thoughtful dialogue and greater understanding.
