Congrats to the winner of our Transfer Survey drawing! Sarah Lovin is a Junior Transfer double majoring in Computer Science and Mathematics and really enjoying their WCU experience thus far. This includes living on-campus as a member of the Brinson Honors College, participating in Project CARE, and loving classes for both of their majors (to name just a few things).

Thanks to Sarah and everyone who participated!!! Go Cats!

For today’s Meet Your Advisor, we are so excited to welcome Zak Earp as our new Academic Advisor! Zak is originally from Boone, NC and just started with our office but a few weeks ago & he will be working with Forensic Science students. We are so happy he’s joined our team!

A few fun facts about Zak: he studied abroad in Greece & Germany for a month in 2015 for dual enrollment; he was captain of his swim team for 3 years and then captain for the App swim team for 1; he has white water rafted down Gallatin River in Montana; he has camped at Mammoth Cave for 2 weeks once; and he and his father help train new foster parents for Watauga, Avery, and Wilkes counties.

We are so thrilled to have Zak join us and we cannot wait to see how he grows!
