Western Carolina University enrolls approximately 2,000 graduate students and offers more than 50 master’s, doctoral, and certificate programs at our main campus in Cullowhee, our Asheville - Biltmore Park Instructional Site, and fully online. We currently employ over 300 graduate faculty, including award-winning writers, educators, business leaders, scientists, and musicians. Graduate study at WC

Say hello to the Graduate Student Association (GSA) executive board for this academic year! They already have great plans in the works, so be sure to follow them on Instagram to stay informed. The GSA board was selected via an application process in the Spring coordinated by the outgoing 25-26 board.

The Graduate School is looking for our next Graduate Assistant! If you are a new or continuing full-time graduate student looking for an assistantship for 26-27 take a look:

Role: works with communications (general email inbox, calls, web auditing, social media, etc.) and works with data management, special projects, and event assistance

Details: 20 hours per week in our Cullowhee main office (Cordelia Camp building pictured); flexible scheduling M-F between 8am - 5pm; dedicated desk space; $6,250 per semester
