Did you know that the term "Squaw" is very offensive and demeaning to the Native American Indian People. The term has been used and misused to describe a female "Indian" woman or child. The term "Otsiskwa" was used by the "Iroquois" meaning female sexual parts, a word almost clinical both denotatively and cannotatively. The term was used by the "Iroquois" to describe the "Va**na" area of a female woman or child. When the Anglo-Saxon used and misused the term "Squaw" to describe a female "Indian" woman or child, they used it in a contemptuous or pejorative way to dehumanize or demean the female "Indian" woman or child. They would use and misuse the term "Squaw" to describe the female "Indian" woman or child as a w***e. The term "Squaw" should never be used to describe a female "Indian" woman or child.
