“To Cultivate the Mind; to Nourish the Soul." St. The school opened its doors in 1954. Regular grades are 1st through 6th.

Paul's Lutheran School, located at 510 3rd Avenue, SE in Cullman, Alabama, is a ministry of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, a congregation of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod. Since that time, it has continuously provided a Christian education for members of the church and others throughout north Alabama. We offer a Preschool class (age 3) two days a week, a PreK class (age 4) three days a week, a

nd a PreK class (age 4) five days a week. All three of these programs are full-day programs. Kindergarten for 5 year olds is a full-day program.

🎒 Tomorrow is the first day of school, Crusaders! ✝️💙

As families prepare for a brand new school year, you may notice that a few things look a little different around campus! A great deal of work has gone into sprucing up and beautifying St. Paul’s this summer, and we are so grateful to everyone who gave their time, talents, and support to make it possible.

It has also been a wonderful few days of celebration! Our teachers were installed during Divine Service on Sunday, Open House welcomed new and returning Crusaders back into the halls, and today St. Paul’s Lutheran School was rededicated with Pastor Bussman before celebrating the campus improvements with a ribbon cutting alongside the Chamber of Commerce and members of our community.

As Proverbs 22:6 reminds us, “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” We pray for our teachers, students, and families as another year of learning and growing in Christ begins!

📌 A few reminders for tomorrow:
• Students should wear their Crusaders T-shirt received at Open House. Uniform shirts will be distributed Tuesday.
• All students will enter through the main school entrance.
• PK–3rd grade: use the lane closest to the school.
• Upper grades: use the outer lane.
• Please place your car placard on the dashboard and attach the matching car key tag to your child’s backpack.
• Tomorrow’s hot lunch option is Zaxby’s Chicken Tenders.

There is so much happening, and we hope you'll join us as we celebrate the start of a wonderful new school year and an exciting new chapter in the ministry of St. Paul's Lutheran School.

We hope to see everyone tonight as we say goodbye to summer with an evening of fun, fellowship, and celebration before another incredible school year begins!

Have you been wondering what this year's Conservatory will look like now that music and art are part of the regular school day for every student at St. Paul's?

Join us as we celebrate an exciting new chapter in the ministry of St. Paul's Lutheran School! We invite our school families, staff, church members, alumni, friends, and the entire community to attend our Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Rededication as we give thanks for God's faithfulness and celebrate the many improvements made to our campus.

This special celebration is also an opportunity to recognize and thank our congregation members, generous investors and donors, dedicated volunteers, school families, and community partners whose prayers, gifts, and countless hours of service have made these improvements possible. Your support has helped strengthen the mission of St. Paul's Lutheran School and invest in the lives of our students.

St. Paul's Lutheran School Cullman has a limited number of Pre-K openings still available for the 2026–2027 school year.

The countdown to a new school year is on!

While students have been enjoying an incredible Summer Enrichment Program, exciting things have been happening behind the scenes at St. Paul's Lutheran School Cullman. From safety improvements to beautification projects, the campus is getting ready to welcome everyone back!

A few important reminders:

📍 July 10th – Visit the St. Paul's booth at Second Fridays in Downtown Cullman and say hello!

💦 August 5th – Back to School Bash at WildWater

🏫 August 9th – Open House

📚 August 11th – First Day of School

👕 This year, St. Paul's is beginning the transition to daily school uniforms. Every student will receive two uniform polos to help families get started. Uniforms are highly encouraged this school year but are not required as we begin this transition.

Thank you for being part of the St. Paul's family. Your support and partnership make it possible to provide a Christ-centered education where children are known, challenged, and rooted in God's Word.
