Congratulations to the Cullman High School Class of 2027!

The latest results highlighted by Alabama Daily News show impressive year-over-year ACT growth, with Cullman High ranking among the top schools in Alabama:

ELA – 5th in Alabama
Math – 12th in Alabama

The Class of 2027 continues to shine, and that success is a testament to the hard work of our students, teachers, administrators, and families.

Congratulations to the entire Cullman High School faculty and staff! Your commitment to challenging and supporting our students is making a difference. Keep growing, keep pushing, and keep shining!

Statewide, the percentage of students scoring proficient in English rose from 30.3% to 33.8%, and math increased from 23.9% to 27.5%.

🎉 Cullman City Schools is among Alabama’s best!

The recently released 2025–26 ACAP results from the Alabama State Department of Education show our students ranking among the top 10 school systems in Alabama in every tested subject!

📚 ELA: 83.5% proficient or advanced — 4th in Alabama
➗ Math: 62.5% proficient or advanced — 9th in Alabama
🔬 Science: 75.6% proficient or advanced — 5th in Alabama

We are incredibly proud of our resilient students and grateful for the supportive families who stand behind them.

Most of all, we celebrate the dedicated employees of Cullman City Schools. Their commitment, hard work and belief in our students make achievements like these possible.

Today, we officially cut the ribbon and celebrated the opening of the new Career Technology and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) wing at Cullman High School!

This incredible new facility provides state-of-the-art learning spaces for STEM programs, cybersecurity, health science, educator training, computer science, and marketing. The project also includes 3,900 square feet of dedicated modern manufacturing space on the lower level, along with 150 additional parking spaces for students and staff.

We were especially proud to have two outstanding rising seniors help mark this milestone. Kaylee Johnson, a Health Science student, and Ezekiel Chaney, an Engineering student, had the honor of cutting the ribbon and representing the bright future this facility is designed to support.

This investment reflects our commitment to preparing students for success in college, careers, and the workforce by providing innovative learning environments and hands-on opportunities. We are excited to see the impact this new space will have for generations of Cullman High School students.

We shared the stage this morning with several community partners and some of our ultra-talented students. Our employees are back and students are scheduled to arrive on Tuesday, August 11th. Bearcats!

We welcomed our new employees this morning with an activity that included problem solving, collaboration and critical thinking. Congratulations to table two for constructing the winning structure at 22 inches tall.
