📚 We enjoyed hosting students from Cullman County Schools during their visit to UNA!

The students toured the campus and Kilby Laboratory School! They also connected with staff and ambassadors from our college during a special presentation for future educators. 💜💛⁠

Today we celebrated a very special milestone for two of our own at our Future Teachers of Alabama Senior Signing Day! 🌺🌴

Congratulations to Laney and Jennifer on officially signing their commitment to pursue careers in education! This year’s luau-themed celebration was the perfect way to honor their hard work, passion, and dedication to making a difference in the lives of future students.

Our Educators in Training students had the opportunity to tour the UNA campus today! They heard from student ambassadors and staff members. We ended our day with a tour of the Kilby Laboratory School! It was great experience for them to see a wonderful university with an excellent college of education program! Our second-year Educators in Training students recently competed in our Children’s Literature Competition, and their creativity truly shined! Students wrote and illustrated their own children’s books, showcasing their ability to connect literacy, creativity, and student engagement in meaningful ways. I am beyond proud of the hard work and talent displayed in this project!

We are so proud of 1st year students Kyra (Hanceville High School) and Peyton (Vinemont High School) for earning 3rd place in the Future Teachers of Alabama State Competition! 🎉👏

The girls competed in the Notebook and Display category and represented our program so well. Their hard work, creativity, and dedication truly paid off!

Mrs. Kirkpatrick and Peyton had the honor of attending the FTA Leadership Summit in Montgomery to accept their awards on behalf of the team.
