Congratulations to Rayne Baker (model Peyton Shultz) for earning GOLD at the SkillsUSA National Esthetics Competition! Months of preparation, dedication, creativity and perseverance led to this moment and I could not be more proud.

Competing on the national stage through theory testing, oral assessment, facial services, beauty makeup and fantasy makeup under this year’s *Animal Kingdom* theme, Rayne showcased not only talent, but professionalism and passion for the industry.

Today marked the final day of the SkillsUSA Esthetics National Competition! This competition consisted of a theory test, oral assessment, facial beauty makeup, and fantasy makeup. This year’s theme was *Animal Kingdom*.

Rayne Baker and model Peyton Shultz, you represented our school and state with professionalism, creativity, and excellence. I am incredibly proud of the hard work and dedication you displayed throughout this experience.

Our Cosmetology department had the opportunity to visit the Salon and Spa Management program at Wallace State Community College today. We would like to extend our sincere thanks for the outstanding services provided by the students and the informative information shared by the instructors. We also had the pleasure to visit J. Drake Salon in Cullman. Thank you Jimmy Drake for the valuable advice and encouragement you shared with our future cosmetologists.
