☀️ Summer Session 1 Recap – Fruit of the Spirit 🌈

What an incredible start to our summer! Our students had so much fun learning about the Fruit of the Spirit through hands-on activities, special guests, and exciting adventures.

Throughout the session, we enjoyed:
📚 Weekly walks to the library
📖 Storytime at CowSpoke
📚 Weekly Literacy visits with Dani
🍦 Our Ice Cream Social
💦 Water Days
🎨 Creating colorful tie-dye shirts representing the colors of the Fruit of the Spirit
🍨 Making Ice Cream in a Bag
🛠️ Celebrating Father’s Day with our Building with Dad event
🎁 Wishing our Literacy Reader well with a baby gift basket as she prepares to welcome her little one

We were also blessed with wonderful community guests who helped bring each week’s lesson to life:

What better way to cultivate kindness by learning to care for our canine friends.🐶

A winning combination - PUPPIES and Pre-K kiddo's! That's what happened today when the team from Pet Adoptions of Cuero ventured out to Grace Episcopal Church here in Cuero. The summer camp children's group welcomed half a dozen of the newest arrival of pups for a morning play session. The pups loved all the one on one attention and the kiddo's loved the puppy kisses and cuddles. Thanks to GEC for the invite and all the wonderful pet food and pet toy donations.
