After 6 years, I have made the difficult decision to close Busy Babies. The last day of daycare will be September 3rd.

I am so thankful for all of the amazing kiddos, families, and friends who have come into my life during this time. I can't thank everyone enough for the love and support throughout this journey and as I transition into my next one. You are all AMAZING!

Did you feed a giraffe today? We did! 🦒

To wrap up our unit on Animals, we visited the Milwaukee County Zoo to see the animals we’ve been talking about up close. It was a beautiful day too!

We had so much fun walking around Milwaukee Public Museum today! We saw the giant African animals, the rainforest animals, dinosaurs, and went into the Butterfly Center to watch the butterflies up close. We learned so much about the animals we are studying in this month’s Animals unit.

We went to a very special story time at the Cudahy Family Library. The Disney on Ice skaters read some Frozen books then a surprise guest came out to meet the kids. It was a very exciting day!

Our little daycare is grieving right now. We lost our beloved Miss Debbie on Sunday night. For years she was a big presence around daycare. She always knew all of the kids’ names and when she hadn’t had a chance to visit in a while she would always ask me about each child. She loved coming over to play and go for walks with us. She will be so greatly missed. 💙
