📢 Big News for GCCS Mathematics! 📐

We are pleased to announce the adoption of Savvas enVision Mathematics as our new district-wide K–12 math curriculum, beginning in the 2026–2027 school year!

Following a collaborative review process involving our teachers and leaders, we selected Savvas for its high-quality, standards-aligned instructional materials, digital and print resources, and professional learning support. This program also earned strong HQIM recognition from the New Mexico statewide review.

We are committed to providing rigorous, consistent, and engaging math instruction for every GCCS student. Stay tuned for more details as we prepare for this exciting update!

Summer Meals Are Here! ☀️🍎

Grants Cibola County Schools, in partnership with SFE, is offering free summer meals for all children ages 1–18 at multiple sites across the district. Breakfast and lunch are available throughout June and July, with times varying by location.

There is a short form to complete at your first visit, and children must be present only at the first pick‑up to receive meals.

This month, we are thrilled to award the Edu-Champion Belt to Mrs. Tricia Garcia for her outstanding work on the newest GCCS Food Services Request for Proposals (RFP). In a truly collaborative effort, Mrs. Garcia ensured that our students were included in the food selection process, giving them a meaningful voice in choosing what is served in our cafeterias. We thank her for her dedication to making this happen for all school sites and cafeterias across the district.

Memorial Day is a time to remember the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect the freedoms we enjoy every day. We also honor the families who carry their legacy forward with strength and pride.
